Autobiography
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 30 years experience in the management and development of production and quality systems. I love teaching and mentoring people and enjoy seeing them reach their full potential. I am a strong believer in data and the proper use of statistical methods. I believe processes should have systematic approaches and where they don’t, the people working in the process should be involved in the development and improvement of the system.
I am a Certified Quality Engineer and a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence by ASQ. For the last three years, I have been associated with the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence as a volunteer on their Board of Examiners and most recently as an Affiliate Board Member.
My skills in building, leading, and facilitating teams have provided benefit to several organizations. These skills have enabled me to be an agent of change for organizational culture. I am a statistical thinker and a system builder. I specialize in helping organizations build systems needed to achieve and maintain improvements.
Areas of Expertise-Training Topics
I provide Performance Excellence Coaching using the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence as a holistic organizational continuous improvement method. I am a distributor of quality management software from DataLyzer International. Software products include shop floor SPC, gage management, statistical analysis and training, as well as FMEA. I offer a wide array of quality services such as SPC consulting, quality management system development, and team problem solving facilitation.
