2.   The financial report:  total section balance = $20,450.67 as of 8/5/2021, $1496.50 in BillHighway, per our 2021 budget requirements. Reviewed and approved by the Board.

3.   On-line ASQ Headquarters webinars available to use in place of “live” speakers for Membership Meetings.

4.   Based on monthly You Tube Membership viewings, we will continue to offer You Tube videos in lieu of face-to-face meetings for the rest of the 2021 calendar year.

Our 2019 Membership Meeting attendance averaged between 14-15 attendees.

‘Virtual’ Membership Meetings consists of two You Tube videos.  Members completing the viewing emailed Rita (ritamillertn@bellsouth.net), stating the month of the You Tube videos viewed, for Membership Meeting attendance credit.  The Paradigm and section website have the web addresses for the You Tube connections.

5.   Aegis tour on December 9, 2021 will be reviewed at the October 28, 2021 Board Meeting.

6.   Jamie to verify Shirelle is now on ASQ HQ download for September Paradigm distribution.

1.   Review 2022 Business Plan (due on 9/1/2021) – preliminary Business Plan was approved by Board

2.   Board approved $500 donation to TNCPE for 2022

3.   Board approved not to offer Scholarship for 2022

4.   2022 Board Member selection begins 9/1/2021.  Anyone wanting to change their current Board Member responsibilities please contact Stephen Brazil (sgbrazil1@gmail.com) with a copy to Rita Miller (ritamillertn@bellsouth.net).  Anyone thinking about moving into the ‘Chair’ position for the section please contact Jamie (jsupica@gmail.com) and/or Rita for review of responsibilities.  Also we are looking for a 2022 Chair Elect if anyone is interested.

5.   2022 Membership Meeting forum – discussed ‘in-person’ or ‘You Tube/Webinar’ meeting format – the Board will make the decision at the October 28, 2021 Board Meeting – anyone wanting to discuss this topic further, please email Jamie or Rita as the ‘You Tube/Webinar’ format for 2022 looks to be preferred at this point in time.

d)   Check with ASQ HQ if you are eligible to hold the 2022 Chair position (you have been Section 1118 Chair for 2020 and 2021 and there was a rule that a Chair could hold the position no more than 2 consecutive years at a time)

a)   Send financial statements to Secretary prior to Board Meetings – total section balance and BillHighway amount.

a)   We will not be meeting at the Golden Corral for our Board Meetings – or – Membership Meetings for the 2021 calendar year
