Election of Section 1118 Officers
The election of officers for the business year of 2008-2009 took place
at the Vought facility after the tour on the 15th of May, 2008.

The proposed slate of officers was:
* Chair: Phil Ross
* Vice-Chair: Ric Conover
* Secretary: Rita Miller
* Treasurer: Stuart Brown
* Chair-Elect: N/A
The members in attendance (approximately 20) were asked if anyone else would like to be considered for a position or would like to volunteer for the Chair-Elect position, but no other candidates came forward at this time. The motion was made and seconded that the slate of officers stand as is. A vote of the membership present was taken and the slate of officers was unanimously approved for the above positions.
Congratulations to those serving on the board this next year.
I really enjoyed the past year serving as Secretary and look forward to serving with some new people this coming year. We made some tremendous strides this past year in improving the look and content of our website and improving the content of our regular meetings. Thanks to Theresa Scarazzo and Brenda Duncan for their efforts this past year. Hopefully, we can continue our progress this next year.
